Hi Everyone,
I was in a hurry to get the information to you that I forgot to put down
the date for the Van Otis chocolate tour. Below is the email with the date
added. Thanks.
I hope you’re enjoying this beautiful day.
I’m excited to be able to offer activities in other parts of the state, so
that more people can join in some fun.
I am taking the first 15 people that respond to this email. So it is a
first come first serve basis to be fair. Please keep in mind that
transportation is not included for these events. That’s why it would be
awesome for everyone to spread the word and hang a flyer or two so we can
drum up more volunteers out there. OK that is another topic. Still,
transportation is not provided, so when you sign up please be sure you have
a ride in place for these events. You don’t want to hold a spot from
someone else if you truly can’t make it. Another option is to check with
someone else from your tech group, see if they want to go, and maybe you
can get creative in your transportation. Maybe one can find a ride for a
couple of people to get there, and another tech group member can find a
ride for a couple of people to get back home. Perhaps pitching in for gas
so that one driver might provide a ride for a couple of others would help.
Anyways, I am sure you are resourceful and hope it works out for all who
wish to attend.
*Here’s the details on 2 fall activities. There are no costs for the
activities. Please reply and let me know which events you plan to go to.
1. Thursday, October 12

We will go on a hay ride and then we have an instructor who will walk us
through an adapted method of carving our own pumpkins to take home.
2. Van Otis Chocolates
Wednesday, November 8
10:00AM-12:00 noon
341 Elm St., Manchester

We will have a guided tour with lots of verbal information and design our
own chocolate at the end. They also have a store, so bring your own money
should you wish to pick up some extra chocolates.
