Danny, I have two names: Todd's Trail, and NEWTs Trail. They can be
applied to any two segments above. They commerate the leadership and the
labor force that created the trails.

It's about time to come up with some names for each section of trail on
Colville Mountain. I've just been calling them Upper Traverse, Lower
Traverse, East Descent and West Descent, just so everybody knew where I was
talking about.... But they need name names. Please e-mail me your ideas
before next week and we'll decide on the names. The sections of trail are
as follows:
1- West Descent, the section that runs between Powerline Road and Colville
Mountain Road
2- Upper Traverse, the section of trail that runs off the switchback of
Colville Mountain Road and drops you off closest to the "C", near the
Boulder.
3- East Descent, the section of trail that winds down the East side of the
mountain, until it starts going up and crosses some old atv trails.
4- Lower Traverse, this section runs from where East Descent hits the ATV
trail at the bottom all the way to where the trail connects to Powerline
Road.
5-There's also that little loop in the Northeast corner that has been
mowed but not quite built in, everyone's been calling it Larch Loop but if
you have another name let me know.
Short names are good, or long but easily abbreviated names are good, too.
