Let's keep the ball rolling on trail work this Fall. This Saturday October 1st
I'll be working on the trails again from 7:00 AM to 12:00 noon. I'll start
working on the trail at a point closer to the south east part of the property.
The best way to get there will be to start from the trailhead on North Madison
Street.
Go as far north as Madison Street will take you (Don't drive into anyone's
driveway) and park along the side of the road. There are a couple trails there
which will take you up the mountain, take the upper trail. They go through
private property so please be respectful. Instead of trying to explain how to
get to where I'll be and causing everyone to wander the mountainside for a few
hours I'll just make a trail of my pink pin flags to lead to the worksite. So
just follow the pink flags from the trailhead. Otherwise pretty much just go
straight up from Madison Street.
Please remember to bring water and snacks. I will have extra tools but bringing
something is recommended, like a McCleod, Pick, rake, hoe, or shovel. I greatly
appreciate everyone's help in making these trails a reality.
