We're working on the trail again this Saturday, June 3rd. Meeting at the
Madison Access trail at 7 in the morning, gotta beat the heat. You can come
later if you prefer.
We'll head up the access trail until it intercepts our Loop Trail (look for the
pink flags), we'll start work from right there, finishing up a bit of the trail
to the right then heading west along the lower traverse, widening the trail
where it needs it.
Remember to bring good footwear, gloves, and safety glasses. You can bring your
own tool if you want but I have a good few McLeods and Maddocks that are great
for what we're doing, just grab one out of the back of my Toyota Tacoma Pickup
at the access point when you head up the trail if you come later.
This should just about do it for the Loop Trail, other than little bits and
pieces here and there that I'll widen or fix as needed. After this I have plans
for putting in a trail that would replace most of the road that you now need to
hike up.
