Break time is over! Saturday September 24th we'll have another work day on the
Colville Mountain Trails. It's time to start the descent on the east side and
eventually make a full loop. I will be on the mountain before 7:00 AM until
noon or so. Anyone interested in getting the loop done before winter strikes
come join me any time!
To get to where we will be digging: From May Road head up Colville Mountain
Road, at the first switchback in the road continue going East. That will bring
you to the already-built part of upper trail. That trail will drop you off on
an ATV road, follow that East some more. Continue heading East until the ATV
road turns into the trail I'm working on.
I will have some extra tools with me if you don't have any. Be sure to bring
water and a snack. Digging tools are best. The terrain we'll be digging in is
very grassy. Thanks for any help you can give to this project.
