Yayasan KNCV Indonesia is a non-profit organisation that aims to be a strong
local and self-sustaining organization dedicated to the fight against
tuberculosis (TB) in Indonesia. Yayasan KNCV Indonesia promotes effective,
efficient, innovative and sustainable tuberculosis control strategies in
Indonesia. We are an organization of passionate TB professionals, including
doctors, researchers, training experts, and epidemiologists. We aim to stop the
spread of the TB epidemic and to prevent the further spread of drug-resistant
TB.
Currently Yayasan KNCV Indonesia is looking for a:
Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator
Duty Station : Jakarta
The Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator will be responsible for the day to day
management of the M&E unit coordinating the collection, analysis and
documentation of all YKI information and data. S/he will be responsible for
ensuring that all YKI internal and external documents/reports/
materials/lessons learnt are clear, up to date, accurate (and where required
evidenced based), and disseminated effectively and correctly.
The M&E Coordinator (in coordination with the Director) will be responsible for
the development and implementation of the monitoring and evaluation strategy
for YKI. In collaboration with the Project Manager, s/he will oversee the
progress of YKI project implementation. S/He will be responsible for the
development of high quality quarterly and annual reports, leading the M&E team
to analyze and measure progress, achievements and identify challenges and
lessons to inform project planning. S/He will ensure that data collected from
the national, provincial and district level are qualified/accurate and in
accordance with the Standard Policy and Procedure for data collection in YKI.
The M&E Coordinator will also lead the technical and M&E team in the project
assigned to him/her, playing a strategic role in the management and technical
side of the project, to ensure the objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities include:
Team Coordination
Coordinate the M&E unit to ensure that all M&E activities at national and
district levels are carried out in accordance with the M&E strategic plans.
Lead and oversee the development and implementation of the M&E Strategy;
Standard Policy and Procedure for Data Collection, Recording and Reporting
Manage M&E Unit activities.
Project Monitoring and Evaluation
Develops the Project M&E Plan and monitors implementation.
Develops and continuously updates SOP’s for monitoring and evaluation
Coordinate and manage routine data/information collection, recording and
reporting from YKI partners that relevant to YKI indicator from partner.
Undertake routine monitoring and data quality assurance visits to project sites
to support and ensure the effective implementation of the M&E Strategic Plans.
Coordinate the development of high quality quarterly and annual reports,
leading the M&E team to analyze and measure progress, achievements and identify
challenges and lessons to inform project planning.
Technical
Supervise and monitor TA activities carried out by Project (Senior) Technical
Officers, Coordinators, identify problems, advise corrective actions, and
follow up on these actions
Provide TA and coordinate the technical assistance from project team to ensure
technical quality of planning and implementation of project work plans related
activities, signing off on related reports, and provision of supportive
supervision.
S/he ensures any publications under her/his responsibility follow the branding
policies
Submit periodic progress reports and field visit reports in accordance with YKI
project guidelines to the Director
Participate in the regular coordination meetings with NTP and other partners
Maintain up to date knowledge and skills (self-learning) and share new
scientific information among colleagues
Attend provincial, national or international meetings as required and after
consultation with the Project/Executive Director.
External dissemination
Encourages timely dissemination of YKI’s project results
Ensure that the right information is getting to the right people at the right
time.
Resource Mobilization/Relation Management
Contributes to proposals for funding.
Maintains relations with selected partners and institutions.
Shares YKI strategic viewpoints with partners and institutions.
Qualifications and Competencies:
Educational Qualification:
Medical Doctor, preferably with master degree in public health.
Competencies and skills:
7 years experience working in a health program ideally in Tuberculosis Program
Advance computer skills and demonstrated expertise in GIS and Data Analysis
Software (SPSS, STATA, other)
Proven competency in data management, data analysis, qualitative study,
research and program evaluation
Demonstrated understanding and experience in monitoring and evaluation
approaches, tools and strategies (ME Plans, SOP for data collection, indicator
development).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong eye for detail.
Proactive approach to service provision, as well as the ability to organize
partnerships and maintain good relations within internal and external KNCV
Strong interest and experience in non-government development work
Excellent facilitation and management skills
Exceptional written and oral communication / presentation skills, in both
Bahasa Indonesia and English
Ability to create a supportive working environment amongst all staff
Ability to work as part of a multi cultural team and independently
Motivated and willing to learn
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise, schedule and balance workloads in
the face of conflicting and uneven demands to meet deadlines
Willing to travel and support internal/external events as needed
