Resources Mobilization Adviser
This position focuses on theplanning, search, generation and delivery of new
ideas and project initiativesin line with Rikolto's mission. RMA is responsible
to transform ideas into attractiveproject and programme proposals, as well as
to build strategic alliances thatenhance the impact of Rikolto's programmes.

RMA reports to the Management Team ofRikolto in Indonesia and a member of
Rikoltoâs International Fundraising Unit.
Â
Key Responsibilities
Â
1.       Develop and implement the strategy and processes to expand the
programmeand projects â 15% of the time
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Develop and coordinate theimplementation of the Rikolto's
fundraising strategies and plans
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Research, identify, and initiateaccess to funding opportunities
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Stay up to date on issues of socio-economicdevelopment, food
system, climate smart agriculture, ecosystem restoration,fundraising and
community development programmes and policies, and other issuesrelevant to the
regional context
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Identify and visualize trends andopportunities for the
consolidation, development and positioning of Rikolto
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Incorporate and monitor theapplication of the values, vision
and mission of Rikolto in all the proposalsdeveloped
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Collaborate with the InternationalFundraising â
Communication Team and take up tasks as agreed upon within theteam

2.       Design and development of concept notes and proposals - 70%
oftime
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Coordinate the development of theconcept and design of
project/programme ideas and transform it into highquality expression of
interests, letters of intention, concept notes, proposalsand other relevant
documentsÂ
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Proactive fundraising work: prepareand update a portfolio of
concept notes and proposals that can be easilyadjusted to new potential donors
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Coordinate the negotiation of grantagreements and contracts
with donors to secure financial and non-financialresources (technicians,
equipment and others)
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Evaluate and take lessons from theprevious resource
mobilization initiatives
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Provide documents/materials to presentRikolto to donors and
potential stakeholders in collaboration with the PLA andCommunication
Coordinators

3.       Mapping, establish and nurture relationship with donors and
allies- 15 % of time
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Develop, maintain and regularlyupdate donor database and
advise the team for stronger presentation of ideas todonors
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Build and/or maintain positive andproductive relationships
with existing and potential donors, partnerorganizations and other stakeholders
at all levels
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Represent Rikolto and/or accompanymembers of the Rikolto
programme team at meetings with (potential) donors andother interested parties,
according to requests
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Follow-up on donor reporting andensure the quality of report
submitted to donorsÂ

Knowledge and Skills
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Excellent writing skills (conceptand proposal development)
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Excellent skills to write and speakin English. Fluency in
Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Strong capacity in projectplanning, management, monitoring and
evaluation experience, including budgetingand reporting
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Minimum of 8 yearsâ experience in afundraising or programme
development initiative of international developmentorganization with proven
experience at successfully acquiring grants fromdonors and corporations, and in
meeting grant targets
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Excellent interpersonalcommunications, relationship-building,
conflict management, networking andnegotiation skills, especially when
developing / maintaining contacts andinfluencing development and funding
agencies.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Degree in relevant developmentfield; master or another
relevant post-graduate degree is an asset
