The DeutscheGesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a
Germanimplementing organization which provides services worldwide in the field
ofinternational cooperation for sustainable development. GIZ has
yearsinvolvement in the area of renewable energy in Indonesia.
EnDev Mini GridKnowledge Sharing Project expands the sharing of experiences and
knowledgeabout mini grid from Indonesia to global audience particularly within
EnDev(Energizing Development) framework. The project started in October 2019
andwill end in June 2021.
There are threekey project components of EnDev Mini Grid Knowledge Sharing
Project: component1 is knowledge sharing and product knowledge development;
component 2 isspecific support to EnDev country; and component 3 is support to
global minigrid community.
Related tocomponent 1, ELREN (Electrification Through Renewable Energy), a
joint projectimplemented by the Indonesian Directorate General for New and
Renewable Energyand Energy Conservation (DG- NREEC) and the Deutsche
Gesellschaft fürInternationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on behalf of the German
Federal Ministryfor Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), aimed to
institutionalize offgrid knowledge and experiences into different key rural
energy accessstakeholders in Indonesia. ELREN has produced the Guideline for
PVCommissioning Protocol which is widely accepted and integrated into
practicesby wide range of stakeholders.
Thedigitalization of PV commissioning procedures is expected to help
stakeholdersin different parts of the world to be able to conduct commissioning
properly.This in the end may ensure better operation of the PV systems (mini
grid or ongrid) that will benefit the people and make positive impacts in
differentaspects of life.
The EnDev MiniGrid Knowledge Sharing Project is responsible in converting the
paper basedguideline to digital format and sharing it within EnDev community
and REEP(Renewable Energy for Electrification Program) will be responsible
fordisseminating the tool to wider audience in Indonesia.
The GIZ Office Indonesiais seeking one qualified Indonesian candidate for the
following position:
Internship
A. Objectives
The objective ofthe internship is to assist and support advisor in developing
an androidapplication for Commissioning and Testing of PV power plant:
- Assist in convert paper-based PV inspection protocol form to an
application-based
- Assist REEP advisors on preparation and organizing for application testing
event
B.Scope of works
The intern willbe tasked with performing – through a combination of desktop
studies. With thesupport of REEP advisors, the intern shall:
- Prepare data migration from excel to online questionnaire tools (KOBO
Toolbox)
- Assist in creating questionnaire in KOBO Toolbox
- Re-check the format and formulas in questionnaire
- Prepare users by conducting training; providing information; resolving
problems.
C. Requiredqualifications and competences
- undergraduate student majoring inElectrical Engineering;
- should have excellent analytical and math skills, withthe ability to work
in teams;
- Specific skills on processing data in MicrosoftExcel;
- Havingexperience in administrative issues and government procedures is
advantageous;
- familiar with online survey/questionnaire tools willbe a requirement for
this position
