Nutrition International (NI) (formerlyknown as the Micronutrient Initiative), 
has a commitment to eradicate global‘hidden hunger’ by implementing 
interventions that focus on women and childrenin developing countries. It aims 
to generate innovative and sustainablesolutions to reduce vitamin and mineral 
deficiencies among women, newborns, andchildren. It builds on robust 
evidence-based research and evaluation in orderto demonstrate excellent return 
on investment of scaling-up highlycost-effective micronutrient interventions. 

To assist the Governmentof Indonesia, realise the goal of National Strategy to 
Accelerate StuntingPrevention (2018-2024), Nutrition International and Save the 
Children will beimplementing the Better Investment for Stunting Alleviation 
(BISA) project.BISA is an integrated nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive 
project,targeting two provinces in Indonesia â€“ West Java and Nusa Tenggara 
Timur.

In view of the above,Nutrition International is contracting a consultant/agency 
for designing theSBC Strategy for the BISA project in Indonesia. ThisRequest 
for Proposals (RFP) and particularly the Guidelines for PreparingProposals that 
follow, are designed to help Respondents to produce proposalsthat are 
acceptable to NI and to ensure that all proposals are given equalconsideration. 
It is essential, therefore, that Respondents provide thecomplete information 
that is requested, and in the formats and on the termsspecified.
