Palladium is appointed by USAID to manage USAID-funded Health technical
Assistance Project (BANTU), to support USAID Indonesia’s Country
Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) by rapidly leveraging specialized
short and long-term technical assistance to USAID, USAID-funded programs;
the Government of Indonesia (GOI), and other organizations and agencies as
required.

We are currently seeking a short-term COVID-19 Project Consultant to work
closely with the Project Management Specialist for Emerging Infectious
Diseases (PMS EID) of the USAID/Indonesia’s Office of Health and its local
counterparts.

*JOB SUMMARY:*

The USAID/Indonesia Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) program is looking
for a short-term COVID-19 Project Consultant to provide technical support
on the COVID-19 response program. The individual will support USAID
COVID-19 response program implementation, analysis and reporting
activities, including to monitor and consolidate project updates and
monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) data relevant to the USAID
COVID-19 response framework. S/he will collect, consolidate and analyze
additional qualitative and quantitative data relevant to the implementation
of USAID-GOI COVID-19 Response program as well as map COVID-19 geolocation
data to show locations and facilities that are supported by USAID IPs and
other visualization of USAID COVID-19 activities in Indonesia. The
consultant will provide regular data summaries as a preparation of
evaluation findings, reports, and articles for appropriate
audiences/stakeholders and work with Communications Advisor to review and
update the COVID-19 factsheet master tracker. S/he will assist with
drafting learning and communication materials (success stories, learning
stories, factsheets, infographics, etc.) on the USAID COVID-19 response in
Indonesia by utilizing MEL data. The individual will also support Project
Management Specialist EID to maintain data confidentiality, develop simple
and practical knowledge management mechanism(s), and, when required, assist
other duties (including administrative).

This is a part-time short-term position for *Indonesian** (local hire) *for
a one (1) month period. The position will be based off site with regular
meetings and intensive communication with the USAID/Indonesia EID team.

*REQUIREMENTS: *Bachelor’s degree in public health, development studies,
statistics, social science, or related fields; master’s degree is
desirable; minimum 2 – 3 years of experience working in a MEL team/Program
Office, in data collection, project monitoring, evaluation and learning
activities; prior experience in using automated data collection tools in a
solid MEL system is desirable; possess technical knowledge and
understanding of project cycle and management, MEL system, COVID-19 context
in Indonesia, international donors relations, Government of Indonesia
systems, and challenges and opportunities of health sector in Indonesia at
the national and sub-national level; fluent in written and verbal
communication in English, with ability to speak and make formal
presentation.
