Yayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara is the main partner of The Nature
Conservancy (TNC) in Indonesia. YKAN’s mission is to inherit sustainable
natural environment for future generations by preserving lands and water in
which all lives depends on, through management of protected reserved area,
vital species habitat conservation and local communities empowerment.

*PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER*
The Proposal Development Manager serves as the lead writer on public
funding proposals with overall responsibility for proposal development,
including managing proposal development processes and teams, writing and
editing proposals under the guidance of and working closely with thematic
leads, BU conservation strategy leads and supporting partners, persuasively
communicating and aligning mission and programs with potential funders and
the requirements of individual funding windows. The successful candidate
will be able to craft funding proposals in a clear and compelling manner,
define structures and work plans involving colleagues from multiple teams
and monitor task completion. They will have excellent writing, analytical,
and research skills and must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly
organized, and have experience working with proposal development teams.
They will need to be able to prioritize projects to keep multiple projects
moving in a timely manner, meet deadlines and manage supplemental material
required for proposals. They must have experience preparing public funding
proposals, including technical texts, logical framework, theory of change,
and must possess an ability to work well under pressure and be able to seek
and synthesize information and communicate in a convincing and succinct
form. They should understand budgets as they relate to grant proposals.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree and 4 years related experience, or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
· A minimum of 3 years’ experience writing, editing, and proofreading
public funding proposals for the public agencies.
· Excellent English writing and proofreading skills.
· Proficiency in using MS Office applications, including Word,
PowerPoint, and Excel.
· Ability to identify and address issues and problem-solve
independently.
· Experience researching information from divergent sources and
compiling it into a cohesive reporting structure.
· Experience presenting to and/or communicating with business,
government, or legislative staff and/or program leadership.
· Experience in designing, implementing, and directing multiple
complex projects and ensuring program accountability.
· Experience working with corporate or NGO partners, and government
agencies.
