training services to strengthen international development programs,

monitoring and evaluation, strategic planning, project and program design,
organizational capacity building, and gender and social analysis. SI services
crosscut all development sectors including democracy and governance, health and
education, the environment, and economic growth. SI$B!G(Bs clients include US
government agencies such as USAID, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, the US
Department of State, bilateral donors, multilateral development banks,
foundations, and non-profits.
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)/Indonesia awarded Social
Impact, Inc. (SI) the Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Support task
order (TO). The purpose of the TO is to support the design and implementation
of the Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) for fiscal year (FY)2020
- 2024 by providing technical, consulting, and advisory services related to MEL
to USAID/Indonesia.
The CDCS supports the goals and objectives of the GOI medium- and long-term
development plans (RPJMN 2020-2024 and RPJPN 2005$B!>(B2025) and
Indonesia$B!G(Bs long-term aspirations to be $B!H(Bself-reliant, advanced,
just, and prosperous$B!I(B. USAID$B!G(Bs role will evolve from a strategic
partner to strategic advisor. USAID will promote high commitment and capacity
at sub-national level to increase GOI$B!G(Bs capacity to plan, finance and
implement solutions to their own development.
In this regard, in collaboration with Bappenas, USAID will conduct the CDCS
consultation workshop in early January 2020. The workshop will serve as an
interactive and open conversation with GOI Colleagues and their USG
counterparts. USAID hopes to move forward collectively to build support for
Indonesia$B!G(Bs journey to self-reliance and to achieve lasting impact.
The expected outcomes for the consultation workshop are:
Position Description
SI is seeking part time Workshop Assistant to support the USAID-GOI
Consultation Workshop. Workshop Assistant will be responsible for
administrative and logistics support aspects in an efficient, effective and
timely manner. The Estimated level of effort (LOE) for this assignment is 6
days (@8 hours/days).
Responsibilities:
* Pre-Workshop work (3 days): Workshop preparation with internal and
external. Preparation of logistic, content, materials, workshop agenda,
confirmation participant and other activities.
* During workshop (1 day): Facilitate logistics, participant registration,
distribution transportation allowance, and other activities during the 1-day
workshop.
* Post-Workshop (2 days): Workshop activities report, include prepare and
submitting workshop expense report
This position will report directly to MEL Specialists
Duty Station: Jakarta, Indonesia
Anticipated workshop date: 13-15 January 2020 (one day workshop)
Objective:
1. Assist in preparation of workshop
2. Assist in managing participant in all workshop aspects
3. Managing and organizing internal team and external team workshop to
achieve target
4. Giving a good and reasonable problem solving when handling workshop
5. Developing and combine procedures, resources, equipment and other things
needed to achieve effectiveness and efficient goal
6. Post-workshop activities
Qualifications:
1. Event Organizer experience is preferable
2. Sound experience in conducting a workshops/events/meetings/training and
proven track record in organizing workshops, events or conferences
3. Demonstrated strong coordination and facilitation skills
4. Having good administrative skills and detailed oriented
5. Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills
6. Able to maintain cooperation with internal or external workshop
7. Written/spoken fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia are essential
8. Able to work under tight schedule and target oriented
9. Candidate must possess at least Diploma degree in Administration/ Finance
or equivalent
10. At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required
for this position
11. Perform other duties as assigned
