Senior Statistician
The role
Join MAHKOTA (Towards a Strong and Prosperous Indonesian Society) program
inJakarta as a short-term adviser to design and oversee the Proxy Means
Teststatistical modelling as part of the updating and expansion of National
PovertyDatabase (DTKS). The position will be responsible for coordinating
closely withrelevant ministries/agencies regarding the development of
statistical models.

About you
You will be a motivated and proactive Senior Statistician with the
rightcombination of talent, energy and a commitment to technical excellence.
Youwill also have:
· Master Degree or PhD in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics,
ComputerScience or related subjects;
· Minimum of 10 years (Master Degree) or 5 years (PhD) of relevant
workexperience in statistical modelling;
· Strong capabilities to apply of mathematical and statistical
techniquesto economics in the study of problems, the analysis of data, and
thedevelopment and testing of theories and models;
· Familiarity with data analysis and statistical analysis
softwarepackages, especially STATA, or SAS/SPSS. Able to interpret and
presenteconomic/statistical information in user-friendly formats such as MS
PowerPointand MS Excel charts;
· Familiarity with Machine Learning and Big Data Analysis;
· Familiarity with Indonesian data such as Census, Podes,
Susenas,Sakernas;
· Excellent communication and writing skills in Bahasa Indonesia
andEnglish.
Remuneration
A competitive daily rate will be offered to the preferred candidate in linewith
local Indonesian labour laws.
