Country Purpose:
Islamic ReliefWorldwide in Indonesia was operation since 2003 following the
MOU signingwith the Ministry of Home Affairs. The objective of IRW in Indonesia
programmeis to contribute to the social welfare of the Indonesia people and to
alleviatethe suffering. The main sector for the programme include:
· Waterand Sanitation
· Sustainablelivelihood
· Education
· ChildWelfare
· Shelter
· DisasterRisk Reduction
Thegeographical area are Banten, NTB, Aceh and Central Sulawesi province
directlyimplementing or through partners.
Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia is looking to recruit Logistics Assistant
based inMamuju (for 3 months contracted ).
Reporting Line:
Post holder woulddirectly report to Area Coordinator.
Key Duties andResponsibilities:
· Handling IRI (Palu) procurementprocess.
· Ensuring all procurementprocess is in line with IRI procurement policy
and manual.
· In coordination with thepurchase requestor monitoring the procurement
contract with suppliers, andcontractors.
· Ensuring the quality of thegoods, works or service provided by the
suppliers, vendors or contractor aremet with the contract requirement.
· Provide regular procurementtracking report.
· Managing stock and distributionof project equipment.
· Managing goods and equipmentdelivery to and from other IRI office
· Ensuring that stock records areproperly maintained.
· Any other tasks will be givenby the line manager
SpecificQualifications:
· Administration / Law /Management / At least Diploma/Bachelor's degree in
the relevant studies
· Good facilitation skills
· Good leadership, supervisory& management skill
· Good writing and communicationskill
· Excellent knowledge of computeroperation (Windows, Excel, Power Point)
· At least one year experience inthe logistic
· At least one year experience inthe community approach
· Experience of writing reportsis preferable
