Disaster Risk Management Specialists (six roles) and Finance and Administration
Assistant needed
The SIAP SIAGA program (Kemitraan Indonesia Australia untuk Kesiapsiagaan
Bencana) was launched in November 2019 and is a five-year program funded by the
Australian Government,
working with the Government of Indonesia to strengthen disaster management in
Indonesia and engagement between Australia and Indonesia on disaster management
in the wider region.
Several new roles to support the program at the sub-national level have been
developed and SIAP SIAGA is seeking suitably qualified and experienced
candidates to fill the following:
* A Finance and Administration Assistant to support the sub-national SIAP
SIAGA team in day-to-day finance and administration activities and ensure that
the team meets compliance
requirements in alignment with relevant policies.
* Three DRM Area Coordinators for Bali, NTT and East Java, to coordinate
and lead the implementation of SIAP SIAGA activities in the assigned Province
and Districts to ensure effective
and efficient program delivery to strengthen disaster risk management.
* Three DRM Program Policy Officers for Bali, NTT and East Java, to support
the DRM Area Coordinators in providing technical and programmatic inputs for
strengthening provincial
and district’s management of disaster risk through provision of technical
inputs and advice on policy review and development; facilitate studies,
assessments, and learning that
supports effective and efficient program planning and delivery; and monitoring
the delivery of program activities.
