Research Triangle Institute (RTI) has over 30 years’ experience assisting
governments, communities, and the private sector in managing their environment
and natural resources. As a non-for-profit, independent research institute
based in North Carolina, USA, RTI has roughly 5,000 employees with global
experience implementing international development projects in energy and other
disciplines. Around the globe, RTI International has delivered innovative,
breakthrough solutions in key development sectors, including natural resources
governance, countering wildlife and environmental crime, forestry, marine and
terrestrial biodiversity conservation, protected area management, climate
change, sustainable fisheries, environmental policy, economic livelihood
development, community engagement, institutional capacity building, and water,
sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services.
To build on these efforts, RTI is currently seeking professionals with
expertise in sustainable fisheries and marine biodiversity management that
promotes economic sustainability and food security for communities while also
promoting marine biodiversity conservation in Indonesia. Candidates should be

* Institutional strengthening and capacity building
* Alternative livelihoods and income generation for conservation programs
* Legal, Regulatory and Policy expertise (related to MPA and fisheries
management)

* Youth and gender inclusion
* Monitoring, evaluation, and learning & GIS
* Grants and/or contracts management
Experts should possess at least 6 years of relevant experience. Experience with
donor funded projects such as USAID, World Bank, DFID preferred.
