I am collecting data right now from one of our studies with Kurt's slip
trainer.
Feel free to email me directly if you want to talk more about it.

Hi Katlyn,
This is exactly one of the things I had in mind, thank you! If we end up
getting it, I'll report back.

Hi!
I just came across this last week
https://www.massrehabinc.com/ecommerce/slip-trainer.html
I wonder if this would work since it says it is to be used with a harness
system! Let me know if you get it and your clinic likes it 😊

*Subject:* [neuropt] Reactive balance training equipment
External Email: CAUTION
Hi everyone,
The OP clinic where I treat has been approached by a donor who wants to
purchase assistive technology for our rehab team to use with our patients.
We've been discussing possible options related to reactive balance
training. I'm envisioning a slip/trip simulator or multi-directional
treadmill, but most of the options I've found online take up more space
than we have available. If we could find something with a smaller
footprint, we do have an in-ceiling harness system which would allow us to
place the equipment in an area where we could use the harness to keep
patients safe.
I have an image in my head of a small-ish platform (maybe 4 ft x 4 ft?)
I've seen used in research studies that can produce reactive stepping in
multiple directions, but I can't seem to find it online. Does anyone have
any suggestions for specific products?
Thank you for your help!
Teresa
