How to keep "spyware" "Adware" "trojanware" from downloading itself onto
your machine.
(def: spyware software runs in the background
and sends information about you back to
the company for advertising purposes).
To prevent software from installing itself on your machine
just go to your list of "restricted sites."
Click on Tools, Internet Options, Security tab,
and the Restricted Sites icon.
Click on Sites and type "XXXOOO.com"
(without the quotes) into the
"Add this Web Site to the zone",
then click on Add and OK.
Warning: Say you grow tired of your free
application and use Windows to Add/Remove
it from your system. Guess what?
The spyware will remain on your computer,
often buried within the Windows System Registry.
