Cult virus listens for his master's voice
Anti-virus firm Sophos has detected a new virus, W32/Cult-A, which is a
worm and backdoor Trojan. The worm arrives in an e-mail pretending to be
an eCard from Bluemountain.com with a 'pdf' attachment, and spreads by
e-mailing itself to random addresses and by sharing files over the KaZaA
peer-to-peer network. It also attempts to connect to an IRC server and
listens in for further instruction from the attacker.
