The following is a message from Rob Miley, the IT Lab Manager for DeVry
Phoenix, reguarding the trip to Las Vegas for NetWorld Interop. We're
planning a bus trip to Vegas for this even. Interop is a great place to
meet people in industry and learn about some new technology. If you have
any questions you can e-mail me at mannrem@xxxxxxxxxxx, or you can contact
Rob Miley (his information is at the end of the message).

You are receiving this e-mail because you expressed an interest in going to
Interop in Las Vegas on May 3, 4 & 5. This is an excellent opportunity to
network and see the latest technology in one place.

You need to register online at for an Exhibits Only Pass no
later than March 31, 2005.

If you miss that deadline then the exhibits will cost you an additional

When you register do not put that your are a student. Vendors will ignore
you. Don't put that your are a CIO either.... They won't leave you alone

I would suggest leaving it blank. You can put down DeVry for the business
if you'd like.

The cost of the trip includes roundtrip transportation and the hotel. The
cost will vary depending on how many of you will be sharing a room.

You can have up to 4 people to a room.

The cost breakdown is:

1 person/room $203.52

2 people/room $140.96

3 people/room $119.13

4 people/room $108.56

You can purchase tickets in the wired cafe. It would be easier if everyone
that is sharing a room purchased tickets at the same time so we can keep
track of it.

You need to purchase your tickets by April 6, 2005.

Let all your classmates know. Everyone is eligible.

If we have more then a bus full of students sign up then preference will be
given to Seniors and Juniors.

You also must get permission from your instructors. Although the school is
sponsoring the trip you will not be excused from completing any assignments.
It's up to you to work it out with your instructors.

If you have any questions let me know.
