This months NEOCUG's presentations and discussions will focus on server
software that enables greater resource efficiency on your Citrix servers.
Think you need to add more servers to your Citrix farm? Think again...
Get every ounce of ROI on your Citrix servers
John Newell from Aurema <http://www.aurema.com> will be presenting their
Armtech product. Aurema offers comprehensive, proven solutions for the
allocation, management and control of critical system resources on servers
and appliances, Aurema's family of next-generation active resource
management products dramatically increase server utilization - without
compromising performance.
Michael Monasterio from WmSoftware <http://www.wmsoftware.com> will present
their new CPU Prioritizing software. WM Software produces software products
to help manage and administer computers running the Microsoft suite of
operating systems and Citrix MetaFrame. Our solution areas encompass
Citrix/Terminal Server, Shutdown, Monitoring, Messaging, and Performance
solutions. These solutions help corporate customers increase their
computers' reliability and lower their TCO, while providing enhanced
Jim Ryan from RTO Software <http://www.rtosoft.com> will present their
Tscale Products. With TScale, your existing server farm can support 30% to
40% more users without adding more hardware. By putting TScale in your new
deployments, you will need fewer servers to support your projected user
base. TScale significantly reduces the degree to which your applications use
the page file. This improves the performance of your applications,
delivering both more users per server and better applications response time
under peak load conditions. Unlike other performance management tools that
are complex to implement and that need constant administration, TScale is
installed and configured in 2 minutes per server and operates completely
without operator intervention thereafter.
After the presentations, all vendors will be given a chance to address
questions from NEOCUG members in a panel discussion format.
Robert Wakely to discuss the new Citrix product organization.
Refreshments will be provided by Vector ESP
RSVP to sgray@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx if you plan on attending - we wouldn't
want to run out of refreshments!!
