At GWU we are wrapping up the semester and students in my needs assessment
class just uploaded short videos about the lessons they learned while doing the
assessment and analysis projects. You can check them out at:
http://alpha.wesharescience.com/ ;<http://alpha.wesharescience.com/> It is part
of the NeedsAssessment.org project, but I run it on a different server.
Here is a link to scholarly articles on needs assessment from the 2016
literature:
https://scholar.google.com/scholar?as_ylo=2016&q=needs+assessment&hl=en&as_sdt=0,47&as_vis=1
<https://scholar.google.com/scholar?as_ylo=2016&q=needs+assessment&hl=en&as_sdt=0,47&as_vis=1>
Just as a reminder, as you find resources, write articles, or have questions
about needs assessments please share them on our listserv. I will also add
them to NeedsAssessment.org as they come through.
Now is also a good time to start thinking about presenting about needs
assessments (e.g., research, projects, tools) at next year’s conference of the
American Evaluation Association. It will in Washington DC next Fall.
Talk to you soon,
Ryan
