Alvon Stratford Temporal Specialist USS Vangaurd At first there was emptyness. No light, no sound. The void around him driffted to infinity. It was so huge and so vast, that it overcam his mind. Filling it byond his meager compasity to comprehend. Then there was a voice, soft, distant, yet clear. It spoke to him of many things. Some of the past, some of the future, but little of the present. More sound came, and light too. It was everywhere, filled the empty void. slowly it brightend, and the noise meshed into a steady humming. The voise soon was hard to hear now. Caught up in the steday croshendo of sound and light. Louder. Louder. Brighter. Brighter. More, and more. It was too much, too much. Run, he must run! Where? Anywhere! Faster! Faster! Faster! Faster! No escape! No escaping infinity! Bighter! Louder! Brighter! "Alvon!" He sat bolt upright, sweat poured down his forehead. His breath was fast and shallow. His pulse raced. His head swarmed with confution. Where was he? What was he doing here? How had he gotten here? Details of his life on the Vangaurd slowly came to him as he went about his mornning routene half mindedly. The dream still haunted him, but it slowly begand to fade in intencity. By the time the walked into enginering, it was as if it had never happened. "Morning Ensign. Glad to see you about." Alvon maneged a small smile and a quick "Thank you, sir" before the got to work. Somehow, he had a funny notion that today would not be a normal day, but he couldn't quite make out why... enough time idleing, there was work to be done. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
