OOC: We have nothing to fear, but fear itself...Bullshit! I just want to
recap...So far on Alpha Team, we were leaving the bridge heading for sickbay
and the armory. D'Angelo just had one of the numerous hallucinations...or he
really experienced a time bubble...anywho, he tumbled down a jeffries tube
shaft. Thanks to Bravo Team, power has just been restored.

IC:

Doctor Xristha Droin got back on her feet with help from Captain Santos. "Damn
suit." She said under her breath. A small bead of perspiration gathered on her
temple. "Hopefully life support will be brought online soon."

Vogel helped D'Angela get to his feet. As he did Nick spoke up.

"This access panel should be the sickbay floor." He pointed to a hatch on the
jeffries tube wall.

"Nice aim." Vogel said to D'Angelo, joking that his fall was aptly aimed.

"Perfectly calculated." D'Angelo returned.

The Chief Security Officer pried open the access hatch and the four officers
climbed into the vacant hall.

Xristha's tricorder was open, scanning the layout of the deck. "Sickbay should
be around that way." She pointed down the hall to the right.

Nick nodded and Xristha led the way.

The doors to sickbay did not open as the Chief Medical Officer stood in front
of them. She tapped on the door control panel, again nothing.

Vogel attached a [insert appropriate name of a door demagnetizer thingy] and
the door shot open. He then stepped aside as the Doctor entered.

Sickbay was empty. Xristha closed the humming tricorder. It was more than
empty. Droin felt her heartbeat begin to increase. Her respiration became
slightly elevated. More perspiration formed on her forehead, a drop running
along the side of her delicate jawline.

Her Bandi and Betazoid senses began to feel impressions. Her Romulan fight or
flight response began to heighten. "I..." Her word were choppy.
"Someone...I...I...feel..." The words strained against her gasping breath.

"Doctor?" Vogel said, standing next to her. He turned to where Santos and
D'Angelo wandered away, "Captain!"

Nick was next to Xristha in a second. "Xristha?"

Her body was slightly shaking. She moved hypnotically through the ward of
biobeds. Her mind's eye showed a grisly picture.

On each bed, one of her friends, her crew, were strewn. Their bodies bent and
mangled. She dropped the tricorder and ran over to the first bed. Soman Drath's
eyes were lifeless.

She gently ran her finger along the Bajoran's cheek, tracing the fine line of
his jaw to his chin.

"Death." Her voice was faint to Captain Santos. He watched her drop the
tricorder and was spooked by the eerie clank as it hit the deck.

He stood next to her, "Doctor!" He tried to pry through.

Xristha's mind was racing. She felt the emotions of Santos next to her, but
couldn't push the visions of death in front of her. She closed her eyes,
swallowing hard. She breathed in through her nose and out through her mouth.
"Een-do-cra-ool." She chanted a Bandi mantra to center her emotions.

With five breaths she was able to visualize Santos and the others.

She blinked, her body's responses returning to normal. She smiled at Santos.
"The placebo didn't work." She joked, covering up the trauma as quickly as it
barraged her.

OOC:

Ugh...psycho doctor!
