Hi Harry,
Your moth appears to be a Metaglea.  Unfortunately, this large group of
sallows is not well represented in Covell's book.
The blue rim on the wing edges is only a light defraction.
Hope this helps!
Good Mothing,
Lance

Last night I had a season high number of moths. They were mostly the old
familiar moths of early 2011, but I did have an Arrowhead Moth, 3259. I baited
a few trees and was handsomely rewarded -- a couple of them attracted 15-20
moths at one time, and one of them later had at least two dozen moths. Many of
the moths dropped to the ground as soon as my light reached the tree, but I was
able to locate most of them on the ground among the leaves. I have attached a
photo of one moth that I am not familiar with and would appreciate help with
the ID.
