Ken, your first picture looks like Lespedeza Webworm, Pococera scortealis:

Not sure if your second pic is this species or not.

I had these 2 last night and I think they are species of Pococera but I can't 
find them on MPG. The colors are different but the underlying pattern is the 
same so they may both be the same species.
