[ncsc-moths] Garella nilotica

By looking at the maps on BugGuide, BAMONA and the Moth Photographers Group, 
you might think that Garella nilotica is a relatively uncommon moth but I'm 
confident it is a lot more common than what those maps indicate. I think the 
problem is that it's tiny, incredibly variable, and it resembles a Tortricid 
but is actually a Noctuid. 

I put together an album of some I've seen here in 2011/2012 to show just how 
variable they are.
