Subject: [ncsc-moths] Chatham Co NC moths

Hey, folks.

The mild temps of late have produced a nice early season variety of moths
for me over the past couple of days:

28xx - Rhyacionia sp. (busckana/adana/granti)

3272 - Chimoptesis gerulae

3323.1/3325.1 - Epinotia n. sp.

6258 - Alsophila pometaria (Fall Cankerworm)

6658 - Phigalia titea (Half-wing)

6659 - Phigalia denticulate (Toothed Phigalia)

6662 - Paleacita vernata (Spring Cankerworm)

6663 - Paleacita merriccata (White-spotted Cankerworm)

7474 - Eupethicia miserulata (Common Eupethicia)

8465 - Hypena scabra (Green Cloverworm)

8591 - Phoberia atomaris (Common Oak Moth)

8733 - Caenurgia chloropha (Vetch Looper) - the darkest one I've ever seen

9688 - Galgula partita (Wedgling)

10007 - Feralia major (Major Sallow) - dark form

10495 - Orthosia hibisci (Speckled Green Quaker)

10994 - Cerastis tenebrifera (Reddish Speckled Dart)

Lep on!

Parker
