Subject: [ncsc-moths] Catocala picture

Hi Folks,

I was reviewing some moth "pics" that I took back in 2008, and

found this rather beautiiful Catocala that was taken on July 9th at

sugar bait in Somerset County, MD. [Delmarva Peninsula]

With its vivid FW pattern, I thought that this would be an easy moth

to match-up with Patterson's Mississippi State Moth Photo Album, but

I can't seem to find any species similar to my photo. There is, also,

just a hint of pink-color in the HW's.

I would sure appreciate someone's determination or comments

concerning this moth.

   As always, thank you.

Sincerely,

Lance
