Good work, Kyle! And way to hang in there, insisting that your moth was not one of our normal species. Glad that you received the answer you were seeking. Someone on bugguide who knows someone familiar with micros in this genus said that it is Cameraria fletcherella, 0820. This is an even better find than what I thought it was, as C. fletcherella has only been recorded, it appears, from Michigan and Illinois. Cool! It has been recorded in Virginia, but I don't think it has been found in NC before. Has anyone else seen this before? Kyle
