When I found the moth in the first image, identifying it as Acleris negundana (3/17/12), Speckled Acleris, made sense. I puzzled over the moth in the second image (4/1/12) before admitting, to myself at least, that it might also be A. negundana. The second moth looked darker to the naked eye than the photo shows.
