Joe,
I assume that these were visitors or newcomers and not established club members
?
Was there any damage to the field or were vehicles just seen where they were
not supposed to be ?

Subject: [ncrockets] A very important message regarding Bayboro.
Good afternoon all,
There’s no way to sugar coat what I’m about to say, so I’m just going to be up
front with everyone so that we’re all on the same page.
This past weekend at our monthly Bayboro launch, we were very close to losing
the field due to a few people driving in areas that they were not supposed to.
We have now lost the privilege of being able to drive on the field to retrieve
our rockets. The farmer has thoroughly reminded me that he does NOT want any
vehicles on ANY part of the field other than the paved roads moving forward.
I want to make sure we maintain a positive relationship with the landowner(s),
and this is what he’s asked of us.
If you decide to drive on the field to retrieve your rocket, you will kindly be
asked to leave the launch site, no questions asked. This is a zero tolerance
rule.
Let’s all do our part to respect the landowners and farmers that are gracious
enough to allow us to fly at the best field east of the Mississippi.
