The Penguicon Online Registration deadline has been extended to April 15, 2007.

Registrations made from April 1 to April 15 will be at the $45 price, same as
if you were
registering at the door. All registrations made during this extended period
must be paid via
PayPal. No mail in payments will be accepted for this extended period because
they may not reach
us before the convention.

For the uninitiated, Penguicon is an Open Source and Science Fiction convention
with the idea
being that there is quite a bit of cross-over between people who like sci-fi
and people that like
computers. More than that Penguicon holds on it's own for the computer only
side of things, even
if things tend to get a little chaotic at times (it's a good chaotic, really.)

This year our Technical Guest of Honor is none other than cryptology legend,
Bruce Schneier
(creator of the BlowFish and TwoFish encryption algorithms.) Other guests
include Christine
Peterson (originator of the term Open Source and nano-technology researcher),
Steve Jackson (Of
Steve Jackson Games), Randy Milholland (Something Possitive webcomic) and
Elizabeth Bear (Award
winning sci-fi author.)

More information can be found on the Penguicon website here:
http://www.penguicon.org/

Please make sure that if you are registering online during the extended time
period that you print
the Confirmation Form as, this will help to speed up your check in at the door.
Also, please print
and bring your PayPal payment confirmation.

Thanks!
