Yes, laughter is definitely the way to handle this poor excuse for writing. First of all, this guy needs a decent editor:

"The biggest complaint I have ever heard from die hard Linux users is the GUI, which explains why Linux taken so long to catch up in this area."

There are so many things wrong with this sentence that I hope my Junior High English teacher isn't reading this.

" Powershell also makes it easier to string together multiple administrative without the need..."

Multiple administrative what? This guys seems to lack the mental capacity to string together multiple words in a coherent enough way to form a complete sentence... but I digress. Let's point out the obvious flaws in his argument; it's just as easy.

PowerShell:
HA!! This is a NEW FEATURE!?!?!?! HOW LONG has the good ol' boys of Redmond been telling us that the command line was a thing of the past? HOW LONG have they been touting the power of their GUI tools for day configuration. HA!!! "string together multiple administrative (commands)"... you mean like the bash operator &&? I think I first did this in 2000; I bet someone on this list was doing this a decade before me even if it was on a Solaris box.

What a laugh to call "PowerShell" a new feature... more like a day late and a few hundred dollars too expensive.

OpenSource Software Has Caught On In Windows:

Yeah, that's why MS will win... because you can run the superior software that is FOSS on their inferior OS. HA! That's like saying I can put really great guns on my wooden battle ship, so now my ship will be able to sink a modern battleship. What an amazing amusing world this guy lives in. WAKE UP!!! Those apps are made to run well on Windows so we FOSS guys can then tell users that they have a choice, and they don't have to give up their favroite apps!

FEATURES!!???!!!

HA!!! Talk all you want about Aero. I'll put it up next to my CompizFusion ANY DAY! Your GUI is not even playing the same sport, let alone being in the same ballpark. Here's a hint, making what you had look translucent isn't inovative. Spinning desktop cubes with multiple workspaces and widget layers are where the desktop is right now. We'll wait while you catch up... um, no we won't. Sorry.

UAC?!?! Hmm... Think that's been in Ubuntu since 5.04 (at least that's when I joined on).

Hmm.. Touchscreen, check including multi-touch.
Handwriting and Speech Recognition : Honestly I'm not sure here. Given Android's adoption and all the super portables, I'd bet development is hitting this hard if it's not there already.

Apples:
On a hunch I goodled "Best Apple for Apple Pie" and took the first link (http://www.ochef.com/855.htm). Here's the appropriate text:

"Among the really good pie apples are Jonathan, Stayman-Winesap, Cox's Orange Pippin, and Jonagold, all of which provide a good mix of sweetness and tartness. Other sweet choices are Braeburn, Fuji, Mutsu, Pink Lady, Suncrisp, Rome Beauty, and Empire. Good tart baking apples include Idared, Macoun, Newton Pippin, and Northern Spy.

What you want to stay away from are the apples that become mushy when cooked. McIntosh and Cortland are the mainstream apples that lead that list."

HA! This guy like a crappy pie with his crappy OS, now that's a good laugh too!!!
