Hi everyone,

As you know we are doing our first ECDL exam tomorrow evening, in file
management.

Firstly, we don't want anyone worrying or getting nervous. We will make the
exam as painless and informal for you all as we can. There are certain
things though that we are required by ECDL Ireland to do, and I will explain
a little about these tomorrow evening.

When you arrive for class tomorrow, we will have some time to go through any
questions with Joe. We aim to start the test around 6:30-6:45, and, we have
applied for a 15 minute extension for each of you, so instead of having 45
minutes, you have one hour in which to do your exam.

Directly after the exams, while we're all having a cup of tea, Fiona Roche,
a colleague in NCBI and a technology trainer, will correct the exam scripts,
so that we will be able to give you your results before you go home.

In addition, Denise will be with us tomorrow night, to support you all in
the first test.

So, best of luck, please don't' be worrying, and, if there's anything you
need in advance of the exam, any questions, or anything you wish to check,
you know where we all are!

Stuart.
