I put this package in my repository. So you have to manually change (as
above) the ipkg.conf package (i think it should be kept elsewhere than
ramdisk).
I agree but meanwhile you can add the file to
/system/overlay/savedata.conf and it will be saved / restored during
reboot / boot-up.
