Hi there!
I know about much people who bricked its GIGA Nas while trying to install Tinky or Tinky-LS firmware. That's why their kernel are not compatible with that NAS, even if similar. And if you overwrite the right kernel it seems you cannot use the telnet trick to access the bootloader (why this difference on same company products?). The only thing you can do is using a serial adapter for its 3.3V TTL levels, and connect to the bootloader console to recreate the kernel partition.

So, to use the Tinky-LS firmware, you have to install this firmware image (i removed the kernel for you): http://www.arsenio.net/dualhddnas/tinky-ls-nokernel.tgz.

Feedbacks are welcome!

Bye bye,
