Hi Flipstar,

thanks a lot for your answer...

JTAG would be great. Got a JTAG for WRT54GS here and I'm able to bild some 
things without any problem...

Wanted to go over to JTAG directly, but I didn't find any documentation about 
the jtag connector in the NAS2000 :(

Help would be very appreciated.

if the bootloader is broken there is not much you can do ...
The only thing that can help is a J-TAG adapter to rewrite the entire Flash.
