FYI,
I’ve discovered that GitHub has a very nice asciidoctor backend for
displaying .adoc files.
As a consequence, I’ve made some changes to make looking at documentation
directly in the source tree on github a bit nicer.

I will probably be switching the RFCs to AsciiDoctor in the future as well;
submission to the IETF is a non-goal at this point — rather having the
protocol documentation on-line and readily viewable by interested parties
is a far worthier goal.
