Currently most documentation expects you to already have read the zguide from
zeromq:
http://zguide.zeromq.org/page:all
which you probably have.
You probably also read about the differences between nanomsg and zmq:
http://nanomsg.org/documentation-zeromq.html
The broken link for “getting started with nanomsg” by Tim Dysinger is still
available on the internet archive:
https://web.archive.org/web/20170310075239/http://tim.dysinger.net/posts/2013-09-16-getting-started-with-nanomsg.html<https://web.archive.org/web/20170310075239/http:/tim.dysinger.net/posts/2013-09-16-getting-started-with-nanomsg.html>
but since you are already familiar with zeromq, you could just dive straight in
to the documentation for your favourite language binding on the documentation
page:
http://nanomsg.org/documentation.html

Subject: [nanomsg] newbie question about nanomsg
Hey, two questions:
(1) Is there a working link for: Getting started with nanomsg?
(2) I've had a lot of fun working with ZMQ and so now I'm curious about
nanomsg.
Over on the other side I was able to:
> build ZMQ
> build CZMQ
> build MajorDomo and finally the applications that make use of MajorDomo
I thought it was awesome that I could work at all three levels that way.
How should I think of nanomsg if I'm after those same kinds of patterns?
Thanks for any direction,
Alan
PS: ZMQ first caught my eye when I was looking for a work distribution queue.
I got that working beautifully. I would want to leverage those kinds of
patterns in nanomsg as well.
