Hey you two!
I really think, that the new region concepts should wait. Of course always nice to talk and already find flaws, problems and solutions. As you bo5th have already said, Ecasound/Nama put a few constraitns on the matter or ask for slightly different approaches. A command language is a different access to things. Also, even if Nama could change the prompt on the fly, it would be bloody annoying to me. :-) Still, the bus approach in general sounds good and reasonable. Why do I want the tutorials as part of the online help system? Because user's hate external information. :-) Admittedly a manpage is durable for a lot of them. I haven't seen many RTFMs lately on the LAU/LAD. I don't follow my other lists too well. Still, if the tutorials can be broken down, they can also be integrated into Nama. If we could agree on using a web browser to display them, then the only problem is to somehow index them. Or we could have a second convenience program: nama_toot, which helps the user search and browse them. OK, but even that is something we don't have to worry about right now. It's again just an idea for the future, which sounds doable and holds some attraction to new users, especially seeing, that a command language does seem slightly frightening, even to some experienced users. I also thought, that with allthe consistency in Nama, some concept exposing documentation would be fantastic as well. Well I have it at the back of my mind, while going through commands.yml.
  Helpingly yours :-)
         Julien
