Hi Ecasounders and Namites,
Played with Log::Log4perl today. Took some time
to get the basics. (Embarrassingly long, as usual <blush>.)
For ECI commands, I now have something like this
[ 0 ] engine-status
[ 4 ] cs-is-connected
The number is the time gap between commands in milliseconds.
That should help in determining timing problems.
The full log for Ecasound troubleshooting would also include
the chain setup, responses to commands, and possibly jack
connection information.
Ideally, the log could be used to replay a command sequence
with something close to the original timing.
