Hi everyone. Thrilled to let you know that both Lauren and I are back.
Before I go any further I t thank Ros Sackley for her constant hassling of me
to get started again.
Lauren and I have been discussing where to go from here. I will give a little

Hi everyone it's been quite some time since I've posted on here and Laurie and
I are very mindful that the campaign has been on hold for a while now as Mandy
will appreciate though Laurie and I have been power that the next campaign on a
voluntary basis and sometimes life just gets in the way I'm back on deck now
and ready to hit the ground running and I'm sure you'll be hearing from Narre
over the next few days as well in the meantime I wanted to get the ball
rolling by asking for people feedback on what is happening for over 65's with
disability at the moment what problems you are still experiencing when
accessing the support you need and where do you think I have to wrap should be
focusing on its attention please remember that Marie and I have really here to
for Sillett tater discuss it we want this to be a grassroots placement so the
direction it takes is going to be guided by all of you Lauren

I'm back after a long break which unfortunately could not be avoided what I
think would be the best way to start is for you to let me know where you are at
and which direction you think we should work on Lauren and I would like some
input on what you think and what problems you feel need working on .

The equipment provided is usually outdated and not progressive according to the
persons ability before moving to aged care. Now we are considered to be just
old.
Lauren is looking at writing up a new briefing paper and we feel if you might
refresh your own memories.
We discussed setting up working groups one of which should be a Media group
phoning and talking to community radio stations Talk back Radio. Editors of
our newspapers etc.
I know everybody gets busy with their own Life, but it would be good if there
was someone to pluck up the reigns if we can't We are just volunteers and if I
get ill again or life just gets in the way it would be great if there was
someone to put their hand up.
We are planning to have a teleconference on Sunday May 8.
