Good Afternoon,

I hope this email finds you well.

Amongst all the unsettlement of the current global pandemic and national
lockdown #2 we are delighted to announce the opening of KENTS HILL BEACH HUT
(visiting pod) on Wednesday. This will be fully fitted with sanitiser, an
intercom, Perspex screen, warmth and the ability for yourselves to be able to
see and interact with your family members in a safe environment. This is
located inside our current visitors room at the left side of the building which
will be signposted.

With following all government guidance and company procedures we have devised a
list of all the need to know information and steps to follow when visiting
relatives in the home.

•             Visits should be tailored to residents and facilities and should
prioritise residents and staff’s safety to limit the transmission of COVID-19

•             Care homes, especially those who have not allowed visits since
March, will be encouraged and supported to provide safe visiting opportunities
as new national restrictions come into effect

•             Measures put in place should provide COVID-secure opportunities
for families to meet using visiting arrangements such as floor to ceiling
screens, visiting pods, and window visits

Information

•             Masks are to be worn at all times

•             One visitor permitted at any one time

•             One visitor per week per resident

•             Half an hour visits only

•             Visitors may differ from week to week

•             No more paperwork to be signed

What to do when visiting Kents Hill Care Home

•             On Arrival please use hand sanitiser

•             Ring the door bell and wait for assistance

•             Walk around to the visiting Pod

•             Use hand sanitiser provided

•             Enjoy your visit with your loved one using our intercom system

•             When visiting time is finished you are free to leave the premises

We completely understand how frustrating these measure may be for yourselves
however our aim to is provide a safe environment for residents, relatives and
staff. In achieving this we must ensure we are following all guidelines set to
us by the government and Maria Mallaband care Group.
