Hi Everyone,
I am just back from visiting Mutti. Not exactly the weather for a beach
hut.but then we hardy northerners have been to the seaside in worse!
When I arrived I could hear the residents singing carols which was nice.
I gave the bag of all our gifts and cards to Dawn. I asked that they be kept
for Christmas Day and that we hoped someone would sit with Mutti as she
opens them.
Mutti was pleased to see me and I reeled off the names of those who sent
their love. Her face lit up at each name so that was good.
As always she said to tell them all she sends her love back.
I told her it is Christmas in 2 days' time and that there are presents for
her from us all.
I also asked Dawn about the Covid jabs. Apparently the staff have now had
theirs but the residents have not yet.
Mutti was smiley and her hair looked ok. Her finger nails are very long
again which she mentioned on Skype on Monday. I did mention this to Dawn
too.
When I left we did pretend hugs.
