[muglo] printer

I'm (trying) to start up a new printer. Instructions say before installing
the driver disable all virus detection programs and automatically loading
programs or remove them from the system folder. I don't know if I have a
virus program, although I believe one is part of Norton Utilities, and I
don't know what an automatically loading program is. In short, how do I do
the above and what happens in I don't? jim
