Jim, I set people up with this kind of stuff all the time. My suggestion for=20= you is to try out the Palm Zire (the USD$99 model) and see if you find=20= it usable. If you don't mind the screen, it is a nice handheld, easy to=20= use, Mac compatible out of the box and probably the ideal thing for=20 someone like you. Next up would be some of the other Palm offerings -=20 the m5xx series (m500, 505, 515) is especially nice. I know they lack=20 the multimedia features of the Sony Cli=E9, but as VP, I doubt she'll=20 ever use all those extras (MP3 playback, etc) and won't appreciate the=20= complexity, third party software and (sometimes) instability those=20 models bring. Two big suggestions for you: 1) Hotsync (it's easy) every day to backup your data 2) Don't go crazy installing special software (applications are OK, but=20= other stuff that changes how the whole system works - "extensions" -=20 can conflict if too many are installed) Galen P.
