Had to be Mac's mail application. Didn't know I needed a password for email.
Or maybe I forgot.
One of the things that got me is that nowhere could I find a way to search
for or change the password it was asking for. All very frustrating. By the
way there was much less documentation (instruction) with this Mac than I
received with my first iMac. jim
