Freelist essentially has the same usability, however the software Ecartis, which drives Freelist is open source. Yahoo for instance has developed their own software which drive their lists. The major differences are that Yahoo's archive is more top-level accessible than the index Freelists gives. Yahoo has built a GUI which Freelists does not. Yahoo lists also include advertising, and your subscription info is Yahoo's property. Freelists does not reuse in any way the subscriber list info. ___cartoon life blog___<http://home.golden.net/~samu>___more otherstuff __<http://dougsamu.wordpress.com/>__<http://dougrogers.wordpress.com/> ----------------------------------------------------------- MUGLO information at <http://www.freewebs.com/muglo> Manage list subscription options at <//www.freelists.org/list/muglo> -----------------------------------------------------------
