Since upgrading to Leopard last year, I haven't been able to open any
photoshop applications. They would open, then immediately crash. With
some time on my hands, I did some searching of obscure remedies as no
web forums seem to cover this. Finally found the answer today.......
incompatible twain drivers causing a conflict. The fix is simple: go
to the Adobe app folder, then plug-ins folder, find the Twain plug-in
and either trash it or type a 'tilde' ~ in front of the file name. You
will be unable to scan directly to Photoshop until you update the
driver. More on that later.
